Artist Statement:

My life’s purpose is to inspire others to live in an extraordinary greatness so that together we can create a beautiful world filled with endless possibilities. As an artist, I create by experimenting and curating deconstructed oddities that don’t quite go together. Pattern, texture and medium mixing is my expression of taking fashion risks on canvas. My vision is that creative expression brings comfort to others and reminds people of multiple lives they have lived. It is a remembrance of time that gives warmth to places that can seem cold. My work is abstract and consists of inks, dye and resin - any medium that has fluidity to it. Influenced by the medium itself, I use resin to capture layers of colors, textures and the chemical reaction of the elements on top of each other. My work is the expression of being in flow and letting go of control. Each piece is an expression of joy that captures a moment of time.

Artist Bio:

Kristine Go is a multi-faceted artist based in New Jersey. Kristine is a textile designer with over 20 years experience in the apparel industry, a certified Baptiste yoga instructor, Lightyear Leadership Coach and a creative entrepreneur who runs and owns Pattern Curator and Go Yoga. Kristine has worked as a design director for retailers in the apparel, home and social experience industries and is involved in various art and design related groups including the Association of Women Art Dealers and Art Fair 14C..

Kristine Go also is the Director and Founding Partner of MK Apothecary. She considers herself to be an artist first and foremost and believes it is through artistic expression that true connection and innovation can happen. Kristine views creativity as the tool for survival. She is an advocate for art to be valued and appreciated by all. Kristine studied at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA, where she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art and is currently pursuing her MBA at Rutgers University.
