Artist Bio:

Rocky Canonica is an artist who resides in Marlton, NJ. His work explores the relationship between juxtaposed hand-lettered found text with multi-layered backgrounds. By removing found phrases from different types of source material, he allows viewers to engage with the text in new ways. He earned his M.F.A. in painting and drawing from Tyler School of Art (2002) and his B.F.A. from The College of New Jersey in fine art and art history.
